John, a Knoxville native, is involved in the sales and leasing of commercial and income-producing properties. He graduated on the National Dean's List from the University of Tennessee in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in finance. After college, John obtained his Affiliate Broker license, was involved in real estate management and development, and joined Wood Properties in 2003. In 2009, John earned his Tennessee Real Estate Broker license. John has been designated an office specialist by the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR). He also, has been awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation by the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute, he was elected the 2008 President of the East Tennessee CCIM Chapter and the 2009 President of the Board of Directors for the East TN CCIM Chapter. John serves on the Big Brothers Big Sisters Board and the Nucleus Knoxville Board. He is a member of UT Alumni Association and the UT Berkshire Hathaway Association. He volunteers regularly with the Knoxville Area Rescue Ministries, the Salvation Army, and is a facilitator for Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University. John and his wife Jenny have a son and a daughter and are members of Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church.
